Those arriving by car should take advantage of the City of Aachen's Park & Ride service to get to the Christmas Market or shopping in the city centre by bus in a cheap, fast and relaxed way.
For all those interested, there is a special Park+Ride ticket available all year round on the bus or at the entrance to the Tivoli car park. This is valid as a parking ticket on the day of purchase, is valid for up to 5 people for the outward and return journey and costs 5 euros.
P+R tickets are available from the drivers on the buses except at the Tivoli, where you will receive the ticket as soon as you enter the multi-storey car park; the ticket is valid as a ticket.

The Park and Ride at the Tivoli parking garage is particularly attractive for visitors to the Aachen Christmas Market on Saturday, December 14, 2024. On this day, minibuses will run every 30 minutes from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. from the Sportpark Soers stop directly to the Markt/Judengasse stop. From there, it's only a few meters to the Christmas Market. The minibuses also return to the Tivoli parking garage every 30 minutes from the Markt/Judengasse stop. The parking ticket serves as a travel pass for both the Christmas Market Shuttle and the buses on line 51. Up to five people can travel with the parking ticket to destinations on and within the Alleenring. Passengers can find the exact schedule of the Christmas Market Shuttle at the stops and on www.aseag.de.

The Büchel multi-storey car park in Aachen city centre no longer exists.

Shuttle bus especially for bus travellers
For all bus travellers, there is a shuttle bus that takes you from the Bendplatz (bus car park) to the city centre and back every 10 minutes.
The service runs daily from 9:30 to 18:30 .
A ticket costs € 3 per person.
